Despite being able to move around for work and essential shopping, most people in Tokyo are trying to stay home for the health of the city and good of the community. While we all understand our responsibility during this time, we still miss the subtle wonders of nature: The dazzle of sunshine in your eyes at the sea. The humidity of a forest on your skin. A breeze on your check as you ride your bicycle home late in the evening. I created this mixtape to capture these sensations. While this mix includes songs that are both Japanese and English, they come together for me in both sympathy and vibe.
