Positano was so silent during the lockdown that you could hear nothing but the birds, the waves and, sometimes, the wind. While it was extremely beautiful, it could sometimes become a source of anxiety. Listening to music gave us moments of peace. The notes dissolved in the air and softened our souls. We listened to music together at home or separately during our bike rides along the coastal road of the Amalfi Drive. We always preferred soft, fluid sounds to soothe our spirits.⁠
