Bingo Kasuri is a traditional Japanese fabric renowned for its intricate craftsmanship and distinctive faded patterns. Created through a meticulous process of pre-dyeing and resist-dyeing, the fabric showcases a rich, deep blue hue that has captivated generations. Once a staple, representing 70% of the domestic market, its demand has waned with changing lifestyles. Today, only two workshops remain dedicated to preserving this age-old technique, producing high-quality, unique textiles. By blending tradition with modern living, we aim to reintroduce the beauty and craftsmanship of Bingo Kasuri to a contemporary audience.
