The Mono II
The Mono II is the more casual and upright counterpart to the Mono. It is the perfect tokyobike for the rider who wants the best of both worlds—it offers the simplicity of a Single Speed, with the functionality of adding fenders and racks. With 26" wheels it provides room for a wider, more cushiony tire up to 1.5" (without fenders). Don’t be fooled by the beauty of this bicycle. The truth is, comfort, function, and simplicity are the key features of the Mono. Unlike most single speed bikes, the Mono also has the rear drop-out spacing to be to converted to a multi-speed bike with the help of your local bike shop, making it even more versatile.
|Frame Size||Rider Height|
|S - 42cm||4' 10" - 5' 3" (150 - 160cm)|
|M - 50cm||5' 2" - 5' 9" (155 - 175cm)|
|L - 55cm||
5' 7" - 6' 2" (172 - 185cm)
Please note some riders may be a little outside of these height range recommendations but prefer the feel of a larger or smaller bike. Standover height measurement is not as important as how the bike geometry feels while it is being ridden.

We offer two ways to get your new tokyobike to you:
1 - Ship to a local bicycle shop near me (Recommended)
Based on reputability, we will use your shipping address to choose a bike shop near you—when possible, we work with shops we have had success in the past and prefer the most friendly ones available. Once a shop is selected and your assembly organized, our team will notify you via email. It typically takes a bike shop 1-10 days to assemble your new tokyobike after arrival. Assembly time is dependent on the time of year and the service schedule at the particular shop. tokyobike cannot control bike shop assembly times, but we typically see speedy service from our assembly partners. Once your tokyobike is assembled, your local bike shop will contact you for pick up. Assembly fees are due at pickup and range from $75-160, depending on where you live. Be sure to save your receipt and email it to us right away at email@example.com, and we will promptly reimburse you with a $100 digital tokyobike Gift Card.
If you purchased accessories that will need professional install (racks, baskets, fenders, others), those will also be shipped to your local bike shop unless requested otherwise. Accessories or life goods that don't require professional assistance will be mailed to your shipping address.
2 - Ship to me direct (Assembly Required)
We will ship your tokyobike to you direct. Still, you will be required to organize assembly. Proof of assembly by a professional mechanic is necessary to maintain your 1-year warranty. tokyobike does not provide assembly manuals or instructions as we believe professional assembly will provide you with a safer and longer-lasting bicycle. If you organize professional assembly on your own, you still qualify for a $100 Gift Card with a copy of your receipt.
For international customers, only option 2 is available. For Pre-Orders, please defer to our Pre-Orders T&C found here.
